Triad Lower Blepharoplasty

I present intraoperative photos of this advanced lower blepharoplasty technique. The technique is suitable for anyone who wants simultaneous fat transfer to the under-eye “hollows”.  In my opinion, it is mandatory for anyone with significant laxity of the lower lids, whether it includes loose lid tendons, loose under eye muscle, or significant lower eyelid skin laxity.

I refer to this technique here as Triad Blepharoplasty of the lower lid, because it addresses the three potentially lax structures of the lower lid:  It tightens the lid lateral canthal tendon, the surrounding lid orbicularis musculature, and the overlying skin.
